QI GONG

This class*, offered in partnership with INSTINCT MARTIAL, invites you to discover Qi Gong: an ancient Chinese discipline that combines slow movements, mindful breathing, and mental focus.

Its name literally means “work (gong) of vital energy (qi).” It is considered a traditional internal Chinese martial art. The emphasis is placed on cultivating the body, the mind, and the breath in order to develop smooth, flowing movements and an internal power free of tension.

Qi Gong draws its roots from traditional Chinese medicine, Taoism, and martial arts. The goal is to cultivate, harmonize, and circulate Qi, the vital energy that animates all living beings.

This practice aims to maintain health, prevent illness, and promote longevity.

I’ve had the chance to practice Tai Chi and, more recently, Yoga at this studio. From the very first sessions, I loved the warm atmosphere and was impressed by the quality of the instructors. Their approach allows you to progress at your own pace with personalized guidance. The studio is clean, bright, and tastefully decorated — and in the summer, some classes are even held outdoors. It’s truly great to have both practices offered in the same studio, as they complement each other well, enhancing movement fluidity, flexibility, and breath control. I highly recommend it!
